Telemedicine
Telemedicine enables a matching of supply and demand of certain health resources using cost effective internet-based tools, to overcome the limits of physical space. Patients can be monitored and treated with remote support, often combining a less skilled local care provider with a more highly skilled remote provider. This not only extends resources but provides a point of information capture for critical program management interventions. CAMRIS has extensive hands-on experience in developing and managing telemedicine projects and has done so under more than a dozen contracts, including at the global level for major public sector clients. Some sample telemedicine projects completed by our staff include:
- Telemedicine Program Support Air Force Center for Telemedicine and Theater Informatics
- Telemedicine System Navy Guantanamo Bay, Cuba
- Telemedicine System Federal Bureau of Prisons, Bronx, NY
- Telemedicine System Federal Bureau of Prisons, Martinsburg, WV
